A review of Gunter Boch’s The Pipestone Wolves,  the result of Boch’s exhaustive observation of a wolf pack that moved into the Bow Valley in 2008. The book is part biography of the compelling, but ultimately doomed, wolf family, as well as an attack on the myths of canid research and Parks Canada’s management of wildlife in Banff National Park.
