Downloading Decision: Could machines make better decisions for us?

Downloading Decision is an original, 54-minute documentary that was commissioned for CBC Radio’s prestigious Ideas program. The documentary explores the question of moral decision-making by artificial intelligence: both the technical approaches and practical problems facing researchers in machine learning.

The second half of the program explores the philsophical questions of machine morality and how the topic brings our own ethics into focus.

The projects was pitched and researched by myself, who also conducted interviews with international experts, with the support from producer Dave Redel.
